Tried and True Ministry (TNT) Team plans and develops various activities of interest to seniors. We have regularly scheduled day trips, events with special appeal, and education events pertaining to seniors' health and financial issues.
Oneaspect of the seniors' ministry is called "The Kool Fifties." This group of younger seniors, as well as some of our more active and more mature seniors, goes on special outings together--anything from dinner theatre to dinner cruises, to Metrolink excursions into Los Angeles. TNT also goes on two overnight tours per year. So far we've taken six tours, each averaging three days and two nights or longer.
A second part of my ministry with the 'Shepherding Team' of our church. In this area I am involved in visitations to residences, hospitals, and convalescent facilities. I often meet with bereaved families from our congregation and on occasion perform funeral and memorial services.
